Cody is doing great. He did NOT have to have a skin graft, so that was a huge relief. He wasn't looking forward to that. He may be out of the hospital by Monday, but he is still in for months of physical therapy. He has been swarmed with visitors - near and far, old and new friends - and it's been fun catching up with all our old B Troop friends! Those sure were good times....
Sam has been making huge improvements in potty training. I think we've got it down. I'm doing a chart system now to get him working on going EVERY time in the potty. For every day he doesn't have an accident, he gets a sticker. After 5 stickers, he gets a big prize. After three weeks of this, I think I will dare to put him in underwear. School will be starting up soon!
Brian and I just had a fun web cam call. Sam got so excited at the sound of his Dad's voice on the computer, he came running towards my room and slammed his lip into the railing of the staircase. It's nice and split, swollen and bruised. And he would NOT let us forget he was hurt. Brian said "I don't miss that." Uh-huh. But we had a good time laughing at him when I put a band-aid on his lip (Sam insisted) and it made him look like Groucho Marx. I miss laughing with my husband over things our son does. =(
Brian now has his own room and is enjoying his new location and being in command. So far, so good. Thank you guys for the prayers, and please keep them up!

SO thankful Cody is doing so much better! Hope he gets that bass boat! What a blessing to have a wonderful call with your husband. I remember when "video phones" were only in sci fi movies. Give Sam's lip a kiss for me!
Love you, Mom
So glad to hear Cody's doing well. Hope therapy goes as well, will continue to pray for him and ALL our military. SO glad you get to converse with Brian. When Mr. A. was in the navy it was letters or nothing--and they didn't always make the trip. Don't you just love the little ones you can't reason with? I'd love to have seen Sam with a bandage on his lip! How long did it stay on--2 seconds? Love to all. Mrs. A.
