RETREAT!

Sometimes I wish Brian could retreat from Afghanistan and come home. However, since that's not going to happen, the Army is sending ME on a retreat, and I'll take it!
They are sending Sam and I to Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte/Concord!

It's an indoor water park/hotel. While Sam attends free childcare, I will be in classes given by Army Community Services and the chaplain's office on surviving deployments and such. Room and food is paid for! And when we're done for the day, we get to try out this cool indoor water park. I'm carpooling with my good friend Marci, so her son Bryce will be there to play with Sam. So I get to hang out with my girlfriend and Sam gets to hang out with his good friend. Yay! It should hopefully be a relaxing weekend. It's only for spouses of deployed soldiers and their children. Others who have gone on other retreats have raved about it, and most people I talk to say the lodge is awesome. I will be sure to take pics of what there is worth taking pictures of, and get them on here upon my return Sunday (we leave Friday afternoon).
Lord knows I need this retreat. I went off the meds when I should have been upping my dosage! Man, this has been tough. Pray I get the rejuvenation I need!
