Ben did nothing but eat sand for his first visit to the beach. There were tide pools like I'd never seen before on the beach, so they were like perfect kiddie pools! He and Elizabeth played in those the first day.
Brian and I also got to see some old friends from Bragg/Rucker days, the Stewarts. They're expecting their first child soon and it was great to see them!
Elizabeth LOVES the water. This girl will pour water over her face in the tub and sink down into until even her eyeballs are under water without blinking. So it was no surprise when nothing, not even getting dunked by waves, kept her out of the water. We had to keep a close eye on her. Brian took her way out several times, and he said she seemed scared, but when he would ask her if she wanted more, she would sign "More! More!" My adventurous daughter....
Sam hugged the light pole. So Elizabeth had to hug the light pole. I hear myself saying what I hated hearing my own parents say to me, "She's watching you! Behave yourself!"
To celebrate my new body, I decided to buy two bikinis and wear them in public for the first time since my honeymoon 12 years ago. After looking at these pictures, I feel fat all over again. Still not really skinny enough for a bikini. But I had to show off what I do have along with three reasons for me to stay healthy!

GREAT pictures, and I think you look FINE in that bikini!! I'm sorry we couldn't get our hands on those precious grandbabies this weekend, but sure am glad you had such a good time!
Looks like such a good time! I miss the beach so much :( And you look great!
Fabulous pics! And you look incredible!!!! So glad you all had a great time!
Loved the pictures, everyone looks as if they're having the time of their lives. You have NOTHING to be ashamed of in that bikini. It's cute and you look simply GREAT! I don't think I EVER looked that good in a bathing suit and I didn't DARE wear a bikini. (Don says I once did so I'll leave it at that.) Love to all, Mrs. A.
