Hitting the deck

OK, that's a totally corny title, but oh well.

I have a huge list of projects to get done while Brian's gone, mostly to keep moving forward and busy. The first one I'm working on is having someone clean and seal the back deck. It hasn't been cared for in years and I never knew how terrible it looked until I saw the clean version! I'm very excited about how this is going to turn out. Also, once it's done, I get to put together my nice new patio set that Brian bought me before he left.

So, here are some pictures of the deck in the process of being cleaned.

This shows the railing clean, but the floor uncleaned. Eeeeewwwww....

I had no idea my deck was this color! It's going to look so pretty, like a new deck!

Brian called on Monday and it was great to hear his voice. Sounds like he's getting some rest before being moved to his final location. Thanks for the continued prayers!
