OK, I'll do this in chronological order.
First we hit Atlanta for Noah's 2nd birthday. So glad we got to be there for that. He gets so big so fast! What little time they had together, Sam and Noah enjoyed it. They do get along well, thank goodness. Here, they're making "mac 'n' cheese."

Next we hit my parents boat late Saturday night. We stayed for three days and had a great time. Sam I snuggled together in the V-berth at night with an awesome air conditioning unit just for us. We went to church, ate out on the patio with the other marina residents and also ate pool-side one night with some old friends. We swam in the pool, played at the beach, and hit the mall for a little shopping and Starbucks and play area fun.
Our bed

Eating snacks with Grandad
Entertaining the grandparents with a yo-yo
Hanging with Grandma
Talking to Daddy on the phone
Playing on the "Redneck Riviera"
Then we headed off to Brian's parents house. Hanging out on their back patio is one of the highlights of every trip. We also spent a day shopping at IKEA and Crate & Barrell and had a blast. On Friday we ended up just vegging out at the house and it was great.
Playing games on the patio
Telling stories to Grandpa Joe
Pedaling on the tricycle
Eating snacks with Grandma Rikki
Eating grilled corn
Once we got home and killed the thousand flies that had taken up residence, I got to put together all that IKEA stuff and unpack. After being gone a week, it's nice to be home. Though it doesn't seem quite like home without Brian.
I also got us a new desk chair
I'll show new pictures of his dresser once I get that put together. Then the nursery will be done, too!
The potty training is going really well. I was amazed at how easily he took to it. He even advanced while we were doing all that traveling. Unfortunately, though, he continued to be constipated on our trip and now refuses to go poop in the potty. I'm hoping as we settle at home it will come back to him. He was doing so well!
Lots to do this week, so I'm off to do it. Watching the Gosselin's announce the end of their marriage. Seriously?! How important can your reality TV show be to let your marriage go to pot? So not cool.

Thanks for coming to Noah's birthday, we loved having you! The boys played SO well together. They are best buddies. Can't wait until next month when all 3 boys are together! The pictures from your vacation are great, thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you had such a good trip! I'm also glad you had such good things to say about staying on the boat. I'm not happy about all the junk lying around everytime you took a picture!
Love you!
