OK, so I've decided to get a move on with the potty training. Sam has stopped complaining about it and is learning the consequences of not being potty trained (can't hang out with his friends anymore because he has to stay in the baby room). So to try and motivate him and get him excited, I've decided to do the potty party method. I did not read the book or buy any of their stuff, I just went with the idea.
So today Sam got an invitation in the mail, and tomorrow he will find a wrapped present on the front porch, which will be his potty. There will be cake, candy for efforts and toys when it really happens. Toys out of the Magic Toy Box, mind you. I'm planning to keep my other life on hold for the week while we make a real effort at this. Please keep my sanity and patience in your prayers, as well as little Sam, who is becoming such a big boy!
I may post pics/video tomorrow, we'll see.
Meanwhile, here's a pic of one of my house projects completed - the guest bed/bedroom corner of our bonus room. I'm very pleased with it. I shelled out the money for a real bed, the headboard came out great and I found the end table at a thrift store for 20 bucks. I just slapped some new white paint on it and it was done. So come visit anytime, we've got a nice place for you!

I am dying to know how the potty party worked. I think te Tuckers did that with their girls and they swear by it. Post details soon!!
