Checking In

I've fallen....and I can't get up!
My legs feel like I did 100 squats. I seriously look like a cripple when I walk and I have a huge blister on my finger. Anyway, going up and down on a ladder for two straight days of painting has been a little rough, so I took Sunday off. Tomorrow will be the final work day on the house (until the next buyer walks on us - ha!) and I'm looking forward to locking the door and walking away, once again! I need to touch up where I got tired and sloppy, clean up all the debris from contractors, me and carpet layers, and then I can be done with it. We had people come by on Wednesday and we were their second choice! And someone came in while I was painting on Saturday, but no feedback yet. So...it's rolling along.
Meanwhile, I'm looking forward to seeing New Moon on Monday with some girlfriends, then getting my house cleaned. Sam and I are heading up to D.C. to spend Thanksgiving with my best friend Cliff and his wife Vina, whom I have yet to meet even though they've been married for five years! I'm very excited about spending some down time with them and Sam will love hanging out with a guy.
Tonight he held up a Leatherman pocket knife set and said "This is quite heavy." Wow. I must be doing something right! =)

Your house is going to be brand new and I wish I could buy it! I'm glad you're going to spend turkey day with Cliff and his wife. That should be great fun and you"deserve a break today". Enjoy! Love to you and your little man. Mrs. A.
