Lately, when asked to make a decision, he's taken to placing his finger on his chin or cheek and saying "Mmmm, let's see...."

Two pieces of good news I've gotten recently.
I finally got up the nerve to email the paper and they said they could use me! So now I sit and wait for assignments. But it's nice to feel needed and wanted and possibly able to bring some money in.
Also, and even better, we passed the initial application process with the adoption agency and we're on our way! We're going to be assigned a social worker soon and begin the more thorough formal application. I was so excited when we got the e-mail, I was in tears. On a daily basis I'm so frustrated with Sam, I'm not sure I want another one. Then I get an email that we're on our way to that "other one" and I do a total 180. In my experience, only children can make you feel such extremes at the same time. They are amazing that way! Keep us in your prayers, please!

2. I am very happy for you guys, I know it's gonna be a long drawn out process, but the wait is always worth it and someday you'll have 2 kids driving you nuts and making you want to pull your hair out. Yay!!!!!

We've got to talk about toddlers Kathie! They will take you to places you've never thought you would go before emotionally and they are so worth. Just remember, they really don't know any better, they are just learning. You can make it as pleasant or painful on yourself as you want. It is all a matter of perspective. Send this to me on one of my bad days to remind me! =)
