I did get one thing right, though. He loves it. It's a dragon costume with 3D graphic scales, wings, and a headpiece that gives him eyes and teeth. And we all know he's got the roar down. So it came the other day in the mail and I didn't tell Brian. When he called to say he was on his way home, I put Sam in it and had him hide in his room. When Brian came home, I said
"Oh no, Daddy! Hurry! There's a dragon in Sam's room."
Here's what followed.
Brian's pretty happy he's going to be home for Halloween this year, as he wasn't if he went on that deployment. =)
