Our formal application for adoption has been approved!!! I'm so excited!!!!
Now we have a meeting in November we have to go to. It's a one-day, all-day event where we get all the issues/questions about adoption answered. They'll have a panel of adoptive parents and birthparents that will talk to us about what to expect. And adopted kids, I think. We should hear from all perspectives. =)
I'm so excited this is really happening. Slowly but surely we're working our way closer to welcoming a new life into this family. I can't get over it. And it seems all the more real with my friend Stephanie down in SC holding her new son, with only 48 hours notice before he arrived into their lives.
Continue to pray for us, especially our finances, and please pray for our birth family, who is out there right now somewhere.
