Waiting

I'm gonna guess the month of March will be defined in one word for me: Waiting.
Waiting for Brian to come home.
Waiting for what may be a new baby and the completion (finally!) of our family.
I've decided I'm going to enjoy it. Because even though I'm not a very patient person and I worry like it's a profession, I have to remind myself: I'm waiting for my husband to come home alive from war. I'm waiting for a beautiful baby girl to hold in my arms.

Life is GOOD.

I love this song and I knew it would define the deployment for me!

BUt waiting is so much MORE than waiting... it's hoping and anticipating and dreaming and freaking out and praying and praising and laughing and crying.... it would make the journey WAY LESS special if everything just happened easily!

But seriously, can it just be April already? I'm tired of waiting!

Waiting is also growing, and what God has on the other side is the best blessing you ever got, whatever it might be.

Love you!
