Catching up

Man, I never thought I would enjoy sleeping in my own bed so much! And I'm running around getting ready to leave again on Sunday. Do you think December could be like a vacation? Yeah, right.

So, Sam and I went to visit our friends Stephanie, Dan, Caleb and the latest addition, Luke! I totally bummed out on my camera, let the battery die, and didn't get any good photos. But we did get some with Stephanie's camera, so as soon as I get copies, I'll post more about that trip with the pics. I will say Luke is adorable and I'm so glad I only have one kid right now. =)

I'm within sight of finishing my dining room chairs and I'm quite pleased with them. I got them painted before I left for South Carolina and this morning I stapled the batting and new fabric on them. Tomorrow I will attach them to the chairs and they'll be done! And I really hate that I didn't take the time to take before pictures, because the difference is awesome. But I will take lots of after and show you, probably after Thanksgiving.

This is Sam doing his Buzz Lightyear impression. He likes to fly around like Buzz, but before he can do that, he must activate his wings.

This is me doing archery at the Victory Junction Camp. If you watch carefully, in the last frame of the video, I get a bullseye. This is at 10 yards with a 10-pound draw weight on a compound bow, but I still rock!
