Turkey weekend

So, Brian's parents came to our house for Thanksgiving. I'm so amused by how much Sam loves his grandparents, both sets. He gets so excited when he sees them. He asks about them when they're not around. It's like he knows they're special. Maybe it's because of all the spoiling. =)
My MIL is a total chef in the kitchen, so it was great having her around to give me advice in the kitchen. I still ended up doing my big dinner by myself, because I'm a control freak. =) Brian was impressed, too. But anyway, I digress. My Thanksgiving meal rocked! My turkey was the best turkey I've ever had. And if you've ever had the privilege of eating my Mom's broccoli casserole or sweet potato casserole, you know how awesome our dinner was. Followed by my Mom's awesome pumpkin pie recipe (I will eat no other). If my MIL was impressed, it had to be good.
So, we had a great Thanksgiving. Good family, good food, so many blessings to be thankful for.
Here are some videos of Sam playing in the backyard with Grandma Rikki.
He is trying to convince her to run for her life while he tries to thwack her with a stick. When will men learn women do not go for this?

In this one Grandma and Sam play stick ball.

He might do better if you have him hit right handed instead of left handed. Unless of course he's showng signs of being a lefty. Also tell him to keep his eye on the ball!

I have to say again that was the BEST TURKEY I have ever eaten!! The whole dinner was fabulous!
After Brian stopped recording, Sam did shift around and start hitting right-handed with better results.
