Deadlines

Got my taxes in. Phew!
House inspection went terribly and I'm looking at spending another $6,000 to make this house sellable. It will feel like winning the lottery when this house is sold. The lottery where money STOPS leaving your account instead of going into it.
Just got a call from Bethany this morning, and we're still on track for getting Elizabeth. They have scheduled a 2:30 placement ceremony Wednesday afternoon, with paperwork beforehand at 2.
I have been very careful not to think about this much, as obviously it's overwhelming. Either outcome will be overwhelming! But with Andra's call this morning, I am feeling the first twinge of excitement since I got the call Sarah was in labor.
We're hoping my Dad can be there, since he's in town for work and has to leave at 4 that afternoon. We'll see what we can work out.
Sarah seems to be doing okay, as best as we can tell. She had sent pictures of Elizabeth to Bethany to be forwarded to me on Friday, so that was sweet. However, due to legal reasons, they couldn't. Which is fine with me, because I don't want to know what she looks like until she's mine. I kept pictures of Coral on my computer until Elizabeth's adoption came along! Don't need a whole file of babies I didn't get to adopt.
