So after weeks of depression and down right resentment, it was pretty freakin' amazing to go to the ultra sound appointment and see the healthiest heartbeat I've ever seen! As soon as they put the thingy on my stomach, there it was, clear as day. One baby (PTL!) and with a 167 beats per minute heartbeat! Sam was about 122, so I really think this is a girl.
I can't tell you how truly miraculous it felt to see a baby growing in my supposedly wreck of a reproductive system. Like the lone survivor walking out of the smoke of battle. People, you have now witnessed a miracle of God. Let there be no doubt this is a miracle!
(The top circle is the yolk sac. The bottom right circle is the head, with the little tail at the other end and little arm and leg buds growing on either side).
My due date is Nov. 5 or 7th!

I have said it many times.... I didn't know WHAT God was thinking when He us Liam instead of a little Vietnamese girl.... but He sure knows what's best for us. Even if it's crazy. Even if it seems impossible. EVEN IF WE WILL NEVER GET ANY SLEEP FOR YEARS TO COME!!! :)
Every one of your babies is a different little miracle... what an AWESOME story you will be telling your entire life about those children. WOOOHOOO!!!
How exciting! From what I can tell with my untrained eye, the baby-to-be looks fine. The faster heartbeat usually does mean a girl and how wonderful to have sisters so near the same age for lots of reasons: hand-me-downs, companionship hopefully thru life, and your life will be easier when they can entertain themselves. Girls, I've found, do this for hours on end sometimes, and mine didn't get into nearly as much as my boys. Honey, in God's eye you're a very special mommy and your entire family a very special one. God bless you all and keep you strong and healthy throughout this year.
Hi, Sandy! I envy you. tee hee Mrs. A.
