Support our veterans!

Today we were leaving Lowe's and I noticed a car in the parking lot that had a purple heart tag like my husband's. I looked up to see who was in it and a man with white hair got out of the car with his wife. I couldn't help but look over at my much younger husband, not even 30, and think about the fact that these guys have something in common.
The guys with purple hearts are no longer our grandparents. We have a whole new generation being formed by this war on terror - and we owe them. We MUST take care of our veterans, young and old. I ask anyone reading this to donate, time or money or both, to our veterans. And remember you can vote for our veterans, too. By casting your vote for politicians who support change on veterans' issues, you can being helping a lot. And it's not always who you think it is that has veterans in mind. Check both sides of the aisle!
